Advanced Music Improv - Rap
Want to take your rhyming, lyrics and delivery to the next level? Rap is a fantastic genre to explore to take your entire music improv game up a notch. You will leave this class with rap-specific skills as well as an arsenal of tools to employ across genres and styles.
In class we will explore lyric-writing techniques, rhyming tricks, and storytelling methods so that you can seamlessly improvise impressive lyrics on the spot. We will explore notable rap artists and songs for inspiration and greater understanding of the genre all while developing your own unique flow and style.
Pre-Requisite for this class is Music Improv Level 1 or equivalent
Class Time: Sundays 6-8
